Tomtom's Tomato

Tomtom snagged himself a tomato that Tyler dropped while prepping a salad for lunch and quickly retreated into his lair (the bathroom rug) so no one could take it from him.

It was really cute because he couldn't figure out how to eat it so he just licked it for a while then swallowed it whole!

Every night the boys line up to eat their dinner. I think it's hilarious because there's only the two of them, there's really no reason to wait in line! Just go lie down on the couch! As soon as the one is done, then get up and eat your share. It's not like there's a limited amount or something!

I took pics of tonight's dinner "line" because Tomtom was hazardously blocking the path into the kitchen like a little furry speedbump.

Cold and rainy today. Tomtom hunkers down and refuses to go out. For Huck, it's business as usual!

Outside Antics

It was so sunny last weekend we decided to sit outside and read. We literally lasted 10 minutes. It was pretty chilly and the dogs kept distracting us of course.

Tomtom's Brother

He's back!

The little guy is back in full force! I never thought I would be so happy to catch him stealing bathroom trash to nibble under the bed!

He is back to his boisterous, loud, annoying, sassy, cute self!

Today coming home from work I was greeted in the traditional way: lots of silly howling and barking.

We're pretty busy on Thursdays. We scarf down dinner and rush out to marriage class so the dogs get put in the crate because they try to impede that process as much as possible.

Here's them trying to escape and interrupt dinner. Very cute and very bad.

Tomtom is still on antibiotics and the painkillers though I am considering not giving him any more painkillers since he doesn't seem to need them!

Update

Tomtom's doing great. I slept with him on the couch last night in case he needed to get up to get water or go out. He didn't move all night.

On the other hand, Mr Huckleberry puked up his dinner on the couch right as everyone was going to bed. Ugh.

Tom woke me up right at 7:30 ready to go! He was pretty perky and had to go out. I gave him some of the canned food from the vet and laced it with the antibiotic and painkiller. He ate it all and went back to sleep.

The vet gave us before and after pics of his teeth as well as the ACTUAL TEETH SHE EXTRACTED. ew.
